Abstract
The article looks at the incremental development of network planning in flow charts in the United States. The impact of Line of Balance (LOB) on production process of raw materials is considered. The use of acronyms as a result of breakthroughs is mentioned. The correlation between LOB and Critical Path Method (CPM) is looked at. The popularity and use of Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) as a deadline management control tool is noted. A chart of acronyms and their definitions is given. The author discusses the essentials of program project management.
