Abstract
Plain Language SummaryRenal stones may occur in conditions that involve calcification of the kidney itself. In this case series, we chemically analysed these stones. In some cases, we also performed genetic tests. Interestingly, we found a similar composition in most stones, irrespective of the underlying disorder. This suggests a common mechanism of calcification.
