Abstract

We determine the properties of locking of inhibitory andof excitatory synaptic connections with neocortical pyramidal cells. Weareable to give anoverview of the emerging periodic behaviour, as a function of theperturbation strength. We show thata chaotic response emerges forinhibitory connections on an open set of positive measure of theparameterspace. This implies that synchronization on the set of inhibitoryconnectionsis possible, with positive probability.
