Abstract
Filteen taxa of nematode-trapping fungi were isolated from soil samples collected in Iraq. Among them. seven taxa belonged to <i>Arthrobotrys</i>, two to cach of <i>Dactylella, Dactyleria, Monacrosporium</i>, and one to <i>Stylopage</i> and <i>Cyslopage</i>. The trapping devices of each fungal species were recognized. A brief description of each species from pure cultures is provided. All the reported taxa are new to Iraq.
