Abstract

The present work aimed to characterize the proteases present in Euphorbia milii latex and to evaluate the nematicidal potential of these enzymes. Results suggest that proteases present in E. milii latex concentrate samples are milin and miliin. Difference (p<0.01) between larvae number in the different groups was found, with 65.59% and 96.46% Panagrellus redivivus larvae reduction after 24 and 48 h, respectively.
