Abstract
Nehushtan was a bronze serpent that cured those bitten by snakes, made by Moses during the Exodus. Nevertheless, centuries later, King Hezekiah had it destroyed because it had become an object of idol worship. This striking contrast led us to choose this name to illustrate issues germane to medicine and dermatology, which are not necessarily straightforward. They require special analysis to be fully grasped. To explain, we have begun with a biblical, historical, or literary selection from which we build a point of view. The following is an example of this technique.
