Abstract

There are few Brazilian papers that address psychodrama and pain. This article presents the negotiation technique, a way of using psychodrama to alleviate pain intensity. The technique was applied in 20 subjects in the format of therapeutic acts and achieved good initial results. The director interviews the person and his pain, looking for a negotiation that results in an objective agreement of present or future help, which allows pain relief.
