Abstract
Band mixing calculations treating more correctly the j 2 term and hole excitations, have been undertaken on the cross-conjugate nuclei 47V- 49Cr and 47Ti- 49V. There is an overall good agreement between the experimental data and the theoretical predictions. In particular, the states whose configurations arise mainly from the ground state orbit are, in general, quite well reproduced. These include the known high spin states up to I π = 17 2 − .
