Abstract
Information on the forestry facilities operation, number of employees, regulated activities, statistical data on natural fires are taken from public access sources and do not provide a comprehensive analysis in the Ural Federal District. The article makes an attempt to briefly study the activities of several forestry enterprises in the Tyumen and Sverdlovsk regions.
