Abstract

Ordering in some ‘ceramics’ has been examined by AC magnetic measurements at zero external DC field. From the nonlinear response at the weak AC-field limit, negative divergence of nonlinear susceptibility was concluded in various heterogeneous magnets and superconductors. The origin of the characteristic phenomenon is discussed taking the lattice structure into account and attributed to a frustrative nature of the random inter-cluster coupling in such ‘ceramics’.
