Abstract
In spite of the varieties and the differences in race, religion, language, value and way of life in Asia, there has been one common characteristic that is self-sufficiency. However, from the western Colonial Period until now, Asia has been entirely the dependent and consumer. The author proposes that what Asia needs are creativity and productivity to balance Asia with the other parts of the world. This leads to the necessity of Proactive Teacher Education throughout Asia. Five processes or Panca-Vithi is also proposed in this paper.
