Abstract

A 30% occurrence of necrotizing vasculitis of the hypersensitivity type complicated a 1-month general toxicity study in dogs. The etiology of this immune-complex disorder was found to be an allergic reaction against intestinal worm antigens in genetically related, hereditarily predisposed dogs.
