Necessary Explanations on Merits of Solving Problem of Optimizing Construction of Air Defense System of Surface Ships Formation in Case of Attack Threat of Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles

Abstract

A number of publications related to the improvement (optimization) of the air defense system (AD) orders of surface ships (SS) in the threat of attacks by anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCM)was developed by a group of authors (Galiy V.A., Ivanishchev S.N., Bukri V.N.) and submitted for the consideration of the specialists. The publications were evaluated by experts and this article presents a discussion on the merits of solving the problem of optimizing the construction of an air defense system of the surface ships formation in case of attack threat of anti-ship cruise missiles taking into account some questions and comments.
