Abstract

In the case of coherent integration technique for near space maneuvering targets, the integration performance may be greatly affected by the problems involving across range unit (ARU) and Doppler frequency migration (DFM). Based on polynomial Fourier transform (PFT) and Lv's distribution (LVD), this paper proposes an efficient coherent integration method. It can not only correct the ARU effect, including range migration and range curvature by PFT, but also eliminate the effect of DFM and achieve the coherent integration via LVD. Compared with the existing methods, such as Radon-Fourier transform (RFT), fractional Fourier transform (FRFT), the proposed method is superior to them under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environments and can obtain better estimation about target motion parameter including velocity and acceleration as well. Finally, simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
