Abstract
The prediction of the Fermi liquid model as to the universal appearance of the susceptibility maximum and the occurrence of metamagnetism is verified experimentally in itinerant electron systems. In accordance with this, it is concluded that, by analysing recent experiments throughout the world, liquid3He is nearly metamagnetic and its susceptibility is likely to show a maximum at about 40 mK.
