Abstract

Smart Windows In article number 2106090 by Sai Liu, Chi Yan Tso, and co-workers, a self-activated thermochromic perovskite smart window is developed. This window demonstrates a passive color-switch ability between cold and hot weathers. Notably, the window can smartly harvest the near-IR by the photothermal layer to trigger the thermochromism at room temperature, showing great potential for use as a new generation window technology in buildings.
