Abstract

In this study, reduced graphene oxide/zinc oxide (RGO/ZnO) and reduced graphene oxide/titanium dioxide (RGO/TiO 2 ) composite materials were produced by hydrothermal method. RGO/ZnO/TiO 2 composite materials were fabricated by adding TiO 2 nanoparticles to RGO/ZnO composite materials. Graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized by Hummers method. The physical properties of RGO/ZnO/TiO 2 composite materials were analysed by XRD and SEM. Using these obtained composites materials, electrode was fabricated for supercapacitor applications. Electrochemical properties of produced composites were analysed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and capacitance plots and impedance spectrums of electrodes were determined. As a result of the calculations, specific capacitance values were found to be 3.29 F/g, 19.58 F/g, 24.15 and 14.36 F/g for TiO 2 , RGO/TiO 2 , RGO/ZnO and RGO/ZnO/TiO 2 , respectively. Keywords: Reduced graphene oxide, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, supercapacitor
