Abstract

Endobronchial laser therapy has rapidly gained its popularity over the past decade. Of the available lasers, Nd-YAG is the commonest one used in North America (1,2). Its endobronchial application can be carried out either through a flexible (FB) or a rigid bronchoscope (RB). However, use of FB is popular among North American pulmonologist (2). We, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, have been involved with Nd-YAG Laser Photoresection (LPR) for over a decade, using FB for most of our procedures. The following article describes our technique and experience with Nd-YAG LPR.
