Abstract

Eight fellowships will be awarded for recent doctoral graduates interested in research on the atmospheres of the earth, the sun, and the planets. The fellowships are being offered as part of the Advanced Study Program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado.The competitive fellowships are open to scientists who have just received their Ph.D.'s or those with no more than 4 years of experience beyond the doctoral degree. Fellows are awarded a stipend of $18,000–$19,000 a year, depending upon experience, and they have the opportunity to use the facilities available in Boulder during the year‐long term of the fellowship.
