Abstract

With the popularization of automatic identification system (AIS), AIS has been widely used in the design of AIDS to navigation. In order to enlarge the working distance of AIS base station signal properly and send AIS message which meets the standard, an AIS navigation mark terminal based on high-performance radio frequency (RF) chip is designed. Through the design of local oscillator module and power amplifier module, it can compile and analyze the information of lamp, geographical position and hydrometeorological information received by sensor into three kinds of standard AIS messages, and send them to AIS base station and passing ships. The test results show that the new AIS beacon has a more stable high-quality RF signal and can send a variety of AIS messages, which proves that the new AIS beacon can achieve better navigation aid effect
