It dissects the responsibilities and expertise expected of them while navigating ethical challenges. The exploration encompasses a comprehensive overview of Prompt Librarianship, drawing parallels between librarians and prompt engineers, elucidating their role, highlighting their influence in information retrieval, contrasting traditional and prompt librarians, assessing the impact of AI and ML, and addressing challenges and ethical dimensions.
