This study describes changes in left ventricular (LV) global longitudinal strain (GLS) prior to aortic valve intervention (AVR) in asymptomatic severe aortic stenosis (AS) patients. Asymptomatic severe AS (aortic valve area index [AVAi] ≤0.6 cm2/m2) patients with preserved LVEF were evaluated.
