Abstract

After the World War II, the southern part of Kyushu Island is lined 30° north in latitude; they acknowledged the total development of this solitary island especially on the underground and surface resources.The writer sketched about the natural conditions that influenced the life of inhabitants, such as location, topography, climate and historical background, then he discussed on the outline of the future development of tungsten ore, forestry, fishery, and water power.
