Abstract
Dear Editor, I enjoyed the LDP article by David Matthews (9, 5, 30-34). However, could I make a plea to those who submit articles for publication? Frequently, I read references to the government’s Valuing People White Paper in articles. Here in Scotland, we have our own distinct ‘template’ for providers – the Same As You ? Not everyone in the learning disability field who reads your journal will have Valuing People as their reference point. So, on behalf of my fellow Scots readers, can I seek an end to this type of routine journalistic ‘carelessness’ – and request our social inclusion on a national scale!
