Abstract

In vitro fertilization (IVF) with ICSI is an effective therapy in the setting of abnormal sperm parameters; however, ICSI is frequently used in the setting of non-male factor infertility. In 2012, an ASRM Committee Opinion concluded there are no data to support the routine use of ICSI for non-male factor infertility. This study characterizes national trends in ICSI use by diagnosis from 2014 to 2019 after the 2012 ASRM opinion.
