Abstract“Property, Real Estate & Development” (MIC: SIC: 6798 NAIC: 525930)National Retail Properties is a real estate investment trust that operates through two primary business segments: investment assets, including real estate assets and mortgages and notes receivable (including structured finance investments) and commercial mortgage residual interests; as well as inventory real estate assets. Co. acquires, owns, invests in, manages and develops properties that are leased primarily to retail tenants under long‐term net leases (Investment Properties). As of Dec 31 2007, Co. owned 908 Investment Properties, with an aggregate gross leasable area of approximately 10.6 million square feet, located in 44 states.
