National Project «New Life. New Quality of Maternity and Childhood»: modern trends of specialist’s training in the direction of perinatal medicine

Abstract

Basic standards of medical education in Ukraine in the context of training of specialists of perinatal medicine were presented in the article. There were discussed organizational, scientific and methodological foundations of educational activities of higher education institutions in the framework of the National Project «New Life. New Quality of Maternity and Childhood», expediency of creation of the institution of рerinatal medicine. The characteristic of modern methods of training specialists – problemoriented approach to mastering theoretical knowledge and simulation-training technologies of practical skills assimilation were described. The conclusion about the necessity of creation of the practice of reverse exchange of information concerning the level of specialist’s training for maternity and medical institutions, as well as the foundations of mutual responsibility of higher education institutions and health care facilities for the increasing of efficiency of perinatal care in Ukraine was drawn.
