Abstract
The article considers the national idea as a complex synthesis of mythological and rational-analytical, where the latter is the prerogative of philosophical thought due to the dominance of historiophilosophical meaning in it, which includes knowledge about the history and culture of the people on the basis of its ontological attitudes; neo-myth, forming around a certain idea, acquires conceptuality, referring to socio-political theories - the status of ideology.
