Abstract
Given that pharmacists are considered the most accessible health care providers in the community and among the most trusted, they can play a key role as part of patients' care teams to help address the growing need for mental health resources. With that in mind, the National Council for Behavioral Health and Walgreens, along with the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), on May 1 announced a collaboration to offer Mental Health First Aid training to Walgreens pharmacists and team members.
