Abstract
The latest results of the National Diabetes Audit and the National Paediatric Diabetes Audit together have identified serious concerns regarding the rising incidence of type 2 diabetes in children and young people. Obesity and deprivation play a major part; this and improvements in treatment delivery need to be addressed. Steve Chaplin reports.
