Abstract

Antibiotic resistance remains a major threat to public health worldwide, especially in China, where multidrug-resistant bacteria are prevalent. National action plan on antimicrobial resistance 2016 to 2020 is a great and comprehensive plan for the control of antimicrobial resistance in China, and it is a perfect practice of One Health concept. To help readers to have a thorough understanding of this action plan, this paper gives a detailed introduction of the action plan, and points out the possible challenges in the implementation of the plan.
