Abstract
The RMT Mobile Naturalistic Exposure chamber (Mobile NEC) is a portable alternative to fixed chambers for controlled allergen exposure. It consists of a pop-up tent, in which milled cat hair is aerosolized using a modified robot-vacuum. We compared the allergic response to cat antigen provocation in the Mobile NEC to the previously validated Fixed NEC, where allergen shed from two resident cats is aerosolized.
