Abstract

NASA has a continuing program of extramural research in areas related to its Geodynamics and Non‐Renewable Natural Resources programs. Program elements include study of global earth structure and dynamics; polar motion and earth rotation; regional crustal deformation modeling; geopotential field modeling; the relationship between earthquake occurrence and crustal movements; exploration, assessment, development, and management of mineral and energy resources; and engineering and environmental geology. Unsolicited proposals are welcomed at any time. Proposals received by mid‐July 1979 will be evaluated and considered for funding in fiscal year 1980.
