Abstract

On 24 June, the National Aeronautic and Space Administration announced major organizational changes that will affect the agency's Earth and space science programs.NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe announced that a “streamlining” of the agency's functions into four mission offices will involve combining the current Earth science and space science enterprises into one all‐encompassing science mission directorate.
