Abstract

Catherine Russell is a professor of film studies at Concordia University in Montreal and the director of the PhD in Humanities Program. She is the author of Narrative Mortality: Death, Closure and New Wave Cinemas (1985) and of Experimental Ethnography: The Work of Film in the Age of Video (1999).
