Narrow Sigma hypernuclear states with positive energy

Abstract

The Sigma nuclear absorptive potential expressed in terms of the Sigma N to Lambda N conversion cross section is applied in calculating bound states of light Sigma hypernuclei. The narrow states with positive energy are reproduced. The Pauli blocking and binding effects are discussed. And the importance of the experimental identification of the ground states of Sigma hypernuclei is pointed out.
