Abstract

The article discusses family psychology for clinicians. Topics discussed include problem solving therapy, ethological and anthropological studies that show the key innovations in human evolution, and enmeshed relationship that forms in the early life of child that links the mother's problems relating with deficits in her own childhood, as explained by Bowlby vignette.
