Abstract

The Reverend Charles E. Sheedy, C.S.C., studied liberal arts at Notre Dame and Law at Pitt. He was ordained a priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Notre Dame, Indiana, in 1942. He took further studies in graduate theology at the Catholic University of America and was awarded the doctorate in theology in 1947. Father Sheedy taught religion at Notre Dame, chiefly in the field of morals, wrote a book and some articles in the field, and became Head of the Department of Religion in 1950. He has another article on narcoanalysis which appeared in the May-June issue of Theological Studies, Woodstock, Maryland.-EDITOR.
