Abstract

This interesting paper discusses some aspects of the reorganization of the Iranian world after the collapse of the Safavid dynasty. The author pays special attention to the Afghan tribes who followed Nādir Sāh’s campaign, dividing them into two groups: the Abdālīs, and those from the east of Qandahar.
