Abstract

Power consumption has become a critical concern in the design of integrated circuits (ICs) and systems, such as broadband circuits, single-chip radio-frequency (RF)/millimeter-wave (mm-wave) transceivers, phase shifters, multiplexers, RF switches, frequency dividers, equalizers, tunable filters, switched attenuators, and tunable delay lines. Long neglected, the topic of low-power digital design has vaulted to the forefront in recent years, due to a wide range of new applications, from 5G/6G communications, mobile computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to big data, the cloud, and edge computing.
