Abstract

The use of nanotechnology in communication systems enables producers to make integrated circuits and sensors for computers that are substantially small in size, run speedily, save power, and are also cost-effective as compared to modules of today. An outline of numerous problems relating to nanotechnology in the frameworks of communication is considered in this chapter. Further, this chapter provides a synopsis of the different possible approaches for the advancements in nanotechnology in the transmission setups as well as the likely prospects for research studies in the future, which can result in the enhancement of communication systems. The nanotechnology development for smaller, cheaper, less power-consuming, and more efficient wireless sensor devices is expected to have a considerable impact on these areas and enable new solutions for services, healthcare, environment monitoring, and logistics. The future is becoming more difficult to predict with each passing year but we are on the right road toward the upcoming era, 5G is made possible by the above-explained technologies, which include nanotechnology, cloud computing, and all IP networks. This chapter helps to promote much stronger links between people who will be working and dealing with the very latest future concepts of communication networks, mobile devices, Internet of Things (IoT), body area network, internet services, and, moreover, all the functionalities of nanotechnologies. The development of nanotechnologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), will have a great impact on advanced development in almost every field in the near future. Nano-communication-based devices have the potential to play a vital role in future healthcare technologies by improving the quality of human life. Its application in medical diagnostics and treatment has great potential because of its ability to access small and delicate body sites non-invasively, where conventional medical devices fall short.
