Abstract

Nanosys will license quantum dot technology developed by Uri Banin, a chemistry professor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The portfolio includes 60 issued and pending patents related to heavy-metal-free quantum dots and structures, such as nanorods for improved photoelectronic performance. Nanosys says its quantum dot materials have been used in 10 million displays worldwide.
