Abstract
This is going to be an exciting year for R&D activities in Asia as speculative “hot money” flows into China, some of which will be used to advance China's manufacturing capability to a higher level. This issue starts with an introductory article from the Center for Nanotechnology, Materials Science and Microsystems (CNMM) of National Tsing Hua University (NTHU).
