regions (1.63± 0.39 vs 1.98± 0.38, p= 0.007, 1.51± 0.35 vs 1.84± 0.34, p= 0.0045, 1.68± 0.38 vs 2.04± 0.41, p= 0.005, respectively). This was circumferential in basal, mid and distal ventricular short axis slices. Conclusion: Reduced myocardial perfusion reserve can be non invasively demonstrated using cardiac MRI in symptomatic women with MCD. There is a difference between women with symptomatic MCD and a matched reference control group. Furtherwork is required todefine a threshold for detection of MCD based upon MPRI calculated from stress perfusion cardiac MRI. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.hlc.2013.05.449
