Abstract

A thermochemical investigation is undertaken on the desorption and adsorption of water on the surface of ZrO2 nanopowders. The thermal effects of the sorption processes and the temperature conditions optimum for operation of the material from the viewpoint of the desorption rate are determined. The possibility of using ZrO2 nanoparticles in devices intended for accumulation of thermal energy is demonstrated.
