Abstract

Due to the low recrystallization temperature and rapid growth of recrystallized grains in high-lithium content Mg-Li alloy. Nanoscale high-lithium Mg-Li alloys are difficult to obtain by traditional processing. This paper found that the homogenization treatment of the as-cast Mg-14Li-0.5Ni alloy causes the transformation of the bcc structure to an hcp structure, which can effectively improve the strength and plasticity. After further rolling at room temperature, a nanocrystalline strengthened β-phase Mg-Li alloy was successfully prepared, and its strength was 150% higher than that of the as-cast alloy.
