Abstract

A nanocomposite of activated carbon derived from hazelnut shell functionalized with zirconia nanoparticles (ZrO2@AC) was prepared via a pyrolysis method and was used for the adsorptive removal of tetracycline, chlortetracycline and oxytetracycline.
