Abstract

Sodium uranosilicate was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and studied by X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and thermal analysis. It was found that Na[HSiUO6]·H2O exhibits the phase and functional similarity to the known lithium and potassium uranosilicates.
