Abstract

This article explores two semantic fields in the book "La vida que pensamos. Cuentos de fútbol" by Argentine author Eduardo Sacheri (1967-): nation, as well as religion, in football. The first field has a minor presence. because the author gives priority to the importance of football in personal life. The influence of religion is continous both in story lines and in the author's appreciation.
