Abstract
Two NHC-stabilized Cu9 clusters showcase both TADF and direct phosphorescence in thermal equilibrium. The combined harvesting mechanism arises from the simultaneous presence of a small ΔE(S1 − T1) gap and relatively strong spin–orbit coupling.
